The Most Valuable Member for 2011 is Vic culver, W4VIC.
Vic has had an extremely busy year promoting Ham Radio, DX'ing and Contesting.
He is the power behind the joint efforts of the VA QCWA organization by
publishing a weekly newsletter with the ongoing activities of several QCWA
clubs. He leads a DXpedition to Tangier Island each July for the Islands
on the Air weekend. He is very active in all major contests representing
himself, PVRC and VADXCC. He is always active on the DX bands trying to
catch all DXpeditions on every band and every mode. Congratulations to Vic
for an outstanding year.
Others receiving recognition this year include Bill Verebely, W4WV and Don
Johnson, N4DJ for 50 years of being active hams.

to Tom Moore, WS9B, or Bob Zabot, K4NTO, and we will try to hook you up with one
of the regulars that may live near you so that you can attend our monthly dinner
meetings. You do not have to purchase dinner but we would like to see some
of you back that have problems getting out at night!
